FOTD: Coral Lips + Review: Revlon Colourstay Mineral Mousse Foundation

Something in my head told me to do an FOTD but somehow I was just not in the mood. When your head and your heart are not synchronized, whatever you do will end up messy. Just like this FOTD.

See my expression? I'm ready to eat a lion. LOL. But seriously, I messed the make up. The eyeliners are not even on both eyes. The eyeshadow is not blended. The only good thing is the foundation. I just got Revlon Colourstay Mineral Mousse Foundation, my shade is 050. And it actually matches my skintone perfectly.

Eyes:
Aubeau Eyeshadow Cream
Nonna Eyeshadow Palette (Light brown)
Revlon Satin Eyeshadow in Polished Brown
My Darling Eyeliner in Black
Maybelline The Magnum Mascara
Inez Eyeliner Pencil in White
Inez Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown

Lips:
Wardah Lip Palette (No. 4) mixed with NYX Round Lipstick in Honey

Face:
Revlon Colourstay Mineral Mousse Foundation in Light Medium
Inez Precious Powdery Cake in Deep Peach
Revlon Satin Eyeshadow in Polished Brown (for shading)
Nonna Blush Palette

The lips are actually not that soft looking, it's actually more tacky and gonjreng. I wanted a coral pink but I only got coral red so I mixed in with NYX Honey.

Because it's an easy and failed look, I won't write the How to.

Here's the review. The texture of this foundation is mousse, so it's not liquid, yet it's not creamy. So far no breakouts. I have pros and cons about this foundation.

Pros:
The mousse texture makes it more blendable
Great oil control
Perfect match with my skintone
Good looking package

Cons:
Sheer coverage
Have a funny smell
Kinda pricey (135 IDR for 30 mL.)

p.s. I really have tight budget because I'm a college student and still have no job and still relying on allowance XD

I find this foundation a perfect match with my Inez Precious Powdery Cake. I put the mineral mousse first then the powdery cake and the result is amazing. The coverage is so great, but it doesn't feel like I'm wearing heavy make up. The powdery cake alone has good coverage but still it can't cover my pimple scar on my face, and the mineral mousse alone doesn't make any difference. And the oil control is amazing too! I wore this one day and my t-zone was not as oily as usual. I have to admit I was kinda disappointed with this product, but now I love it so much! It's just how you combine it with. The correct combination will result perfect finish.

Repurchase? Um, I dunno. I'm not that experienced with foundation. I still have to try another brand until I find my holy grail. But I may repurchase :)
